With any product, you will have some downsides. The one that sticks out to me is that I wish that the battery life on the portable neck fan was longer. On hotter days, you have to kick it up to max and it will drain your battery life much faster doing so.
This portable neck fan is that it doesn’t come with an AC adapter, just a charger. However, if you’re planning on taking this anywhere, then you should be fine without one. It will last about two hours or so. That being said, I didn’t mind because I used it mostly at home. If you want to use it at night, make sure you charge it first thing in the morning. I have used it at the beach and also poolside while catching some rays while the kids are in the pool after I have had my dip.
Also, I believe that you can’t use the fan while it is charging, so if you run out of juice, you have to wait for the fan to charge to use it again.
Another thing for people with thicker necks, I wish that it could expand out a little more to compensate for thicker necks. But it still can do the trick if you do have a thicker neck. I find myself at times flipping it around and using it. It’s just another option to using your portable neck fan.
